This was JaCoby on Sunday July 20th. He developed jaundice. Which means his liver is overloaded so his skin turned yellow. This is very common in preemies and not very serious if you get the right treatment. The lights help drop their billi rueben. His count was at 15. The lights don't hurt their eyes they just use them so he can sleep because the lights are very bright.
He was very comfortable. He loved the heat from the lights.
I'm afraid that someday he's going to use that toe to pick his nose! Or one of his siblings nose:)
I HATE seeing all these lights and tubes attached to him!
He is SOOO little compared to my 9 lbs 1 oz Kaden!!!
